Mesh angle bead profiles are used at all facade corners in External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems and External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS). They provide a straight edge for a strong aesthetic.

Unlike steel alternatives, PVCu EWI mesh angle beads are an unobtrusive component of externally insulated and rendered walls and will never rust or stain. The inherent strength and durability of PVCu also helps to protect the system from damage in the event of impact.

EWI mesh angle beads are compatible with all EWI systems and ETICS. They are installed at rendered corners to give a perfectly finished straight edge and help to ensure an effective insulation system.

Correctly specified and installed EWI beading helps to achieve well-defined and reinforced edges in externally insulated and rendered walls. In the event of an impact, the inherent strength and durability of PVCu helps to maintain the system’s quality, appearance, and energy efficiency.

As with all PVCu bead profiles, mesh angle beads provide a good key, allowing installers to achieve the best possible finish. Available in 6mm depth to suit the render, mesh angle beads are offered in white as standard. They can be painted using water-based paint to achieve the required aesthetic.

Render angle beads are available when insulation is not part of the facade, while plaster corner beads and plasterboard angle beads are offered for internal finishes.

PVCu colour bead options

All Renderplas PVCu beads, whether used for external render or internal plaster, are available in white to match the majority of render and plaster specifications.

Therefore, our external PVCu render beads come in up to nine colours to match the vast majority of renders available from the leading UK manufacturers, including Clayworks, Ecorend, K Rend, Parex and Weber. Renderplas PVC beads need no alternative maintenance and eliminate the time and cost of repainting, which would be required when using steel bead alternatives. Colours are UV stabilised to provide a perfect finish for years to come.
