Board casement drip beads are designed for use as part of an EWI system or ETICS. Installed at the base of the system, they close the insulation board edges and divert water away from a vulnerable area of the building.

Keeping water out of the system ensures the insulation’s thermal efficiency and long-term effectiveness. It also protects the background structure.

As with all PVCu bead profiles, EWI board casement drip beads provide a good key, allowing installers to achieve the best possible finish. They provide a clean stop, creating a straight edge while also protecting against potential impact damage.

Available in 6mm depth with 100mm mesh, the Renderplas EWI board casement drip bead comes in white as standard. If required, it can be painted on site using water-based paint.

For rendered walls that do not feature external insulation, Renderplas offers render bellcast beads.

All Renderplas PVCu beads, whether used for external render or internal plaster, are available in white to match the majority of render and plaster specifications.
