Render mesh applications

Woven glass fibre reinforcement mesh is compatible with any EWI system or ETICS. It can also be installed as part of interior plaster finishes, offering many of the same benefits.

Used with correctly specified and installed EWI beading and plaster beading, mesh adds extra strength and resists cracking. In the event of an impact, the inherent strength and durability of the reinforced render and plaster helps to maintain the system’s quality and appearance.

Mesh can be used on projects of any type to strengthen render and plaster at stress points, in high-traffic areas and on surfaces that are likely to experience localised pressure. It works with any combination of insulation, render carrier board, cement board, aqua panel and render.

It can also be used in humid areas or areas with high atmospheric or background salt and is resistant to chemicals, including alkalis.

As it is embedded in the base coat of render and plaster, render mesh is offered only in white. As with all Renderplas beading products, the glass fibre mesh will not stain or rust. It is an installer-friendly product that will last for the life of the render system, and it complies with the design requirements of BS EN 13496:2013 and ETAG 004.

PVCu bead colour options

All Renderplas PVCu beads, whether used for external render or internal plaster, are available in white to match the majority of render and plaster specifications.

Both functional and aesthetic, through-coloured renders are widely used by architects to create bright, bold building facades and to support these creations, Renderplas also offer a wide choice of other colours to meet the individual design requirements of all types of building.

Therefore, our external PVCu render beads come in up to nine colours to match the vast majority of renders available from the leading UK manufacturers, including Clayworks, Ecorend, K Rend, Parex and Weber. Renderplas PVC beads need no alternative maintenance and eliminate the time and cost of repainting, which would be required when using steel bead alternatives. Colours are UV stabilised to provide a perfect finish for years to come.
