Plaster stop beads help to create a seamless straight finish in the plaster at openings, such as for doors and windows. In addition, they provide impact protection that helps to maintain the quality of the finish.
Movement in the plaster, or in the wall structure behind it, is accommodated with plaster expansion joint beads (which can also be called movement beads).
Corner beads (or angle beads) help to create a sharp finish with clean lines and protect the plaster at one of its most vulnerable points.
Plaster beading solutions from Renderplas are a high-performance, maintenance-free solution. Manufactured from PVCu, they overcome many of the shortcomings associated with traditional steel bead profiles, as they are easier to handle, safer to cut, and guaranteed never to rust or stain.
All building components have to support a project’s environmental goals, and plaster beading is no exception. Ecopoint calculations, underpinned by a whole life-cycle assessment, are available to demonstrate the environmental impact of our recycled PVCu beads.
It’s little surprise, therefore, that Renderplas profiles are the most specified beads in UK construction. Our solutions give specifiers and contractors peace of mind that they’re using a safe and sustainable product that doesn’t compromise the quality of the end result.
All of our render bead profiles are readily available through our extensive merchant network. They are easy to install on site, and help to achieve a long-lasting, perfect finish for housebuilders, homeowners and building managers.
Where a dry lined internal finish is preferred, plasterboard beads (also called dry lining beads) are available instead. For external finishes, render beads are used with external rendering systems. External insulation beads feature glass fibre mesh for External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems.
Supporting all internal plastering needs, Renderplas has a variety of technical resources available, including downloads, accreditations and our CPD session.
