Plaster corner bead applications

Plaster corner beads are designed for use as part of internal plastered finishes. They are installed at all plastered corners and reveals to give a straight edge.

Corners can be particularly vulnerable to impact, and the inherent strength and durability of PVCu corner bead profiles help to protect the finish against impact damage.

If the internal finish is a dry-lined application, then plasterboard angle beads or skim beads should be used.

For external finishes, render angle beads are used with external rendering.

Correctly specified and installed plaster beading helps to achieve well-defined and reinforced edges in plastered walls. As with all PVCu bead profiles, plaster corner beads provide a good key, allowing installers to achieve the best possible finish.

All Renderplas PVCu beads, whether used for external render or internal plaster, are available in white to match the majority of render and plaster specifications.

Therefore, our external PVCu render beads come in up to nine colours to match the vast majority of renders available from the leading UK manufacturers, including Clayworks, Ecorend, K Rend, Parex and Weber.
