Render beading can influence the intended energy efficiency. Renderplas PVCu beads eliminate the cold bridges caused by alternative steel beads, helping to support healthier and more thermally efficient buildings.
Our beads are manufactured locally from recycled materials, keeping the distance covered within the supply chain to a minimum. Our white PVCu beading is made from 100% recycled materials. Across the full range of our colour variations, the recycled material content is 90% to 95%. This is the highest level of recycled material among UK beading manufacturers.
Renderplas have taken the lead in providing Ecopoint calculations for our products to assist the specifier in lowering the carbon footprint of their building. In an independent environmental profile report, Renderplas PVCu beads achieved the top eco-rating available to beading products on the UK construction market with an “excellent” Ecopoint rating of just 0.004 per kg installed.
